Now I have a monorepo with a Django SPA, it makes a little bit less sense to keep using it, especially because Heroku makes me pay per app, and I don't want to pay for two apps while the SPA build is like a static file and should not be pricy IMO. I know I could use Django server to serve the SPA build, but it seems a little bit clunky to configure.
- fly.io? Seems pretty easy to use and have good comments. any feedback on it? I'm not a Docker power user but use it a least in local for dev containers.
If you can afford a DigitalOcean/Linode/Hetzner , Polybox https://github.com/mardix/polybox may allow you to host multiple applications on a single servers. With SSL and Git-push similar to Heroku.
Another interesting option for your static SPA front-end is Zeit or Gatsby.
I'm sure it is or will be mentioned here is to have a look DigitalOcean.
