Well, like most things, it's easy once you know it. My greatest pains have been finding stuff written in plain text, such as the difference between setValue and setParameter, what ranges controls use, finding the controls page in the first place, figuring out what the third parameter of beginTimer does, how to set debug mode on Windows, how to log/print stuff (still haven't figured that one out, but I just print numbers to the tempo sliders instead ;). The info is all there, but it requires a lot of time paging back and forth. It might just be that the docs are not ranked high on google, but the relevant links should be smack-dab at the top of the documents (eg. the controls listing page from the manual). For some reason, "Mixxx Scripting" on google first gives a link to github-wiki-see.page instead of on https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/wiki/Midi-Scripting.
