Rebuilding the database causing pkg files to disappear until you run this script. So the fact they are disappearing made me think your ps4 must have tried or successfully rebuilt its database at some point.

Spoofing or ignoring (GoldHEN) can get you past the firmware requirement but not past the SDK requirement. The latter requires a backport. "Software" distributors usually don't offer backports. I found this particularly useful: https://github.com/hippie68/fw.
