Like most of us (devs), I listen to music while coding. And like most of us (neovim users), we value our productivity. So, as a hobby, I've built a Spotify plugin, so I can control it without leaving nvim. While displaying the results with Telescope.
I guess you already know about it but in case it can be helpful, I use spotify-tui in a separate tmux pane to control spotify. It needs Spotify running, so if your plugin does not require that then it would be a very nice improvement.
My setup is using spotpris2 together with spotifyd and control them with mpris-ctl.
