Was hoping someone got it working with one of these or similar. However when browsing the webz Daisy caught my eye. 24 bit 92kHZ stereo ins/outs and a whopping 64MB of SDRAM similarly sized to an Arduino Nano? The library looks pretty sweet too and it can run converted pd and max gen~ patches.
The pin numberings in the library's board definition match those of the custom board datasheets. (seems logical, but I'm pretty noob with embedded except arduino's) Has anyone here integrated the NST-1 with a custom front panel (either with a custom PCB or based on a dev board) and willing to share some insights?
yeah if you're into that kinda stuff the sky is the limit. look into teensy as well. a teensy 4.1 + audio board is half the cost with a lot less sdram unfortunately, but expandable by 8mb(?) their audio library is stripped down (though nothing to sneeze at) and they have a max-looking patching environment for some very streamlined coding.
