In the main settings sidebar, go to "Quake". If you're on Wayland, this section may be hidden (because of https://github.com/gnunn1/tilix/issues/1314). In that case, quit Tilix and then start it with env GDK_BACKEND=x11 tilix, which should make those settings appear. This will only be necessary while you're configuring the Quake settings. After all of these settings have been configured, you'll be able to run the main Tilix in Wayland mode again.
And even then, at the end of the thread he mentions that he optimized kitty when scrolling in pagers and got the CPU usage reduced by half. I presume this is how he finally got the table shown in performance section. This thread might also be the source of the table.
