So I'm brand new to this. Got a DSI XL today that had a program called HiyaCFW. I already broke it.... Can anyone help?

  • hiyaCFW

    World's FIRST Nintendo DSi CFW!

  • If the SD card is over 2 GB you probably just need to update hiyaCFW to fix that error. Or if you hold A + B while booting that should take you to the Unlaunch filemenu*, from there you can go to OPTIONS and set NO BUTTON to Launcher and it'll boot to the normal DSi Menu.

  • twlmenu-extras

This is the repository where extra files for TWiLight Menu++ are hosted

  • Another thing worth noting is that TWiLight Menu++ updates a lot and has improved a lot over the years, so you may want to try updating it and see if you like the new version more. Depending on how outdated you were it may be a big improvement. There are also various skins you can use (or make your own) to change the look.

  • TWiLightMenu

    DSi Menu replacement for DS/DSi/3DS/2DS

  • Once you've got everything set up and working, you may also want to make a backup of the SD / microSD card in the DSi and then update the version of Twilight Menu using the official development sources. There's a ton of improvements in newer versions, including better game compatibility and more features, and your old owner likely hasn't updated in a while. This is also how you add games onto or take them off of the DSi - just copy them to the correct folder on the SD card from a computer. It's been a while since I've looked at mine, but I believe it's roms -> the type of console (for plain Nintendo DS games for example, it's "nds").
