  Quickly and easily list, fetch and generate .gitignore templates

I've just released v1.2.0 of git-ignore - a small helper for creating .gitignores with templates from www.gitignore.io or your own aliases and templates, or combinations thereof. For those who haven't seen this project or are unaware of www.gitignore.io, these are the main selling points for this little helper:

If you want to try it out you can install it from cargo (under the name git-ignore-generator, because git-ignore is taken :(), via AUR on Arch based distros under either git-ignore/git-ignore-bin or via my own homebrew tap and then use it as a git subcommand: git ignore --list.
