    • This first solution was quite straightforward to setup, and depends on nefarius' ViGEmBus driver, which allows low-level controller emulation. There is also a very large README.md detailing its operation and settings. However, this did not work for me at all, but I still recommend you try this as it is more straight-forward.

  • Interception

    The Interception API aims to build a portable programming interface that allows one to intercept and control a range of input devices.

    • I stumbled upon this one last, and gave it a shot as why not? Again, it relies on ViGEmBus for controller output/emulation as well as oblitum's Interception for M&KB inputs. I personally found this my favourite of all three as it was free, open source, and had a decent looking UI. My only downsides were that it took a while to setup bindings and that it crashes occasionally. If you are looking for free but still customisable software, I would advise you use this.
