Ruby library for improved puts debugging, automatically displaying bonus useful information such as source line number and source code.
Generally I use MadPixelSort (on github.com) or Processing. Depending on the image I'll use a different value and direction to sort the pixels in and/or combinations of them - MadPixelSort makes this super easy. Then, when I get an effect I like, I'll bring it into Affinity Photo for cropping, color correction/enhancement, sharpening, and other effects depending on the image and what it seems to want to be.
