Has anyone here set up an emulator environment like Attract Mode or Emulation Station in the past year or so? I'm having issues.

And all that was after struggling to read through their very general documentation and trying to apply it to my barely-more-specific use case. Their example would have me believe that I run three short commands and that's it, but that assumes that I'm running this on a Raspberri Pi, I guess, because all of those directories it defaults to aren't dynamically generated to point to the actual user that exists on the machine. Your commands were the closest I got to getting this thing working, and it still doesn't tell me what went wrong as it loops through these 55 games that it just couldn't find.

My recommendation is to just run Batocera Linux either virtualized, from a live disk, or dual booting
