[Help] Running ipwndfu fails and just boots the device

I'm attempting to run ipwndfu (Specifically this version) to futurerestore my ipad (iPad 6, A10) from 15.1 to 14.5.1. When i run "sudo python2 ipwndfu -p" it says the device is detected but then it just boots normally. If I try to run checkra1n (Yes I know this is unsafe) the device stops being detected by the pc and needs to be hard reset. I'm using archlinux but I've also tried on my laptop running Ubuntu.
