How do I adjust fan curves on AMDGPU?

I don't understand how to read the documentation, but I just want to be able to make my fans go faster and start doing that sooner, ie when the temp is lower. I found a program that I was going to try to use to do this for me, but I have no idea how to install it. I tried using cargo but it tells me I don't have src or core

Then, I went through like 3 different pages on gentoo and learned how to make my own rebuild using this... But after setting up my custom repo and making sure it had the right permissions, manifest, etc. the ebuild failed on account of not being able to find the Config.yoml file it needed, which exists in the directory I built the ebuild from. I think I am just SOL on this, and will have to probably find a different approach

I use https://github.com/marazmista/radeon-profile for this, and it works really well. There also https://gitlab.com/corectrl/corectrl, but I haven't tried it that much.
