  • bitcoin-cash-node

This is a mirror of the official Bitcoin Cash Node repository. Please see README.md https://gitlab.com/bitcoin-cash-node/bitcoin-cash-node

  • The exact sha256.cpp is from Bitcoin Cash Node, which is 12% more code than the Bitcoin Core sha256.cpp. The zedwood sha256.cpp is much smaller, but also slower! Eventually it's conceivable that users could select which binary they mine/generate with, BCHN vs zedwood vs OpenSSL vs CryptoPP etc.

  • VanityTXID-Plugin

Generate vanity file checksums (SHA256), Script CashAddresses, and txn IDs, all starting with a specific pattern. Requires using a standard wallet + plugin + watching-only wallet. Currently available for Electron Cash (BCH) + SLP Ed, on Windows, Linux & macOS. Written in Python & C++ for the generators.

  • Every transaction (TX) has an ID # called the TXID, 64 hex digits. Normally it's (nearly) guaranteed within a few seconds of your payment. However we may prefer a TXID which starts with a certain vanity pattern, like '2dad', 'c0ffee' or '0000000'. In that case we can use special addresses whose TXID is only guaranteed after several minutes (block confirmation). The exact details require installing a plugin to Electron Cash, like VanityTXID.
