    Combined library for V2/V3 Inky pHAT and Inky wHAT. (by pimoroni)

    • Uses a 5.7" 600x448px 7 color ePaper/eInk Raspberry Pi HAT from Pimoroni (quite pricy though) with a Raspberry Pi 3 that periodically creates a screenshot of a web app via CRON and then renders it to the display – their repo makes it quite easy. A refresh takes around ~20-60 seconds.

    • Originally intended to use a Pi Zero 1, but it didn't have enough power to start up a headless firefox-esr browser instance. The web app used for doing the heavily lifting is open source on Github (no docs yet tho – as I plan to add some more features) and uses CoinMarketCap's REST API to query the current price of added cryptos every 5 minutes.
