  • youtube-dl-gui

A cross platform front-end GUI of the popular youtube-dl written in wxPython. (by oleksis)

  • I'm talking about Oleksis's fork, not the original one. Windows binary - 18MB, Linux binary - 103MB. So I thought OK, maybe I can shave that down a bit, compiled it from source - 111MB... OK, let's try UPX. Tried it, it didn't compress it at all.

  • Detect-It-Easy

Program for determining types of files for Windows, Linux and MacOS.

  • So I thought I'd take a closer look. Ran DiE on both binaries... the Windows one, except for the zlib overlay part is not compressed. Neither is the Linux one... but, it's not compressible... at least not with UPX.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
