Setup MetaMask on your computer, on your phone, and on your old laptop. Or even better, buy four hardware wallets. Never write down the seed and setup a Gnosis Safe then add all your devices. Maybe generate another mnemonic seed using this, add the derived account to the Safe and write that one down.
Good key management shouldn't require you to memorize or safely store a bunch of words. Instead, use Gnosis Safe or Argent.
