Something that has recently made a big difference for me in terms of reducing lost focus is zoxide. Many people will recommend it because it makes filesystem navigation faster, and it definitely does that, but for me it is less about the pure speed and more about reducing distracting things that I don't want to think about (filesystem structure, in this case).
