  • doom-emacs

Discontinued An Emacs framework for the stubborn martian hacker [Moved to: https://github.com/doomemacs/doomemacs]

  • Regarding vim binds (and speed), I highly recommend the Doom configuration. Very snappy performance (unless you're on Windows), pre-configured with evil.

  • evil-collection

A set of keybindings for evil-mode

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • org-roam

    Rudimentary Roam replica with Org-mode

  • Writing code is what Emacs is for, don't worry about that. Just remember most programming languages might need a plugin to work (like cc-mode for C and C++, js-mode for javascript). Magit is an amazing git client inside Emacs. I definitely prefer if over the usual terminal git, because you can easily view changes and commit history. Org mode is an amazing note taker built-in to Emacs. You might want to use Org Roam for more features in note-taking.

  • dotfiles

The path to GNUrvana (by daviwil)

  • Lisp take a while to learn, but you really don't need too much knowledge. I would recommend using blocks of code from others' configs as a beginner.
