    An Elite Dangerous companion app to simplify finding unexplored worlds

    • If you are on PC, there is a 3rd party tool that really helps with this called ED Scout. It will tell you the approximate value of a planet before you surface scan it so you don't waste your time scanning worthless planets. It's really great. Here is an EXAMPLE of a system in ED Scout that I scanned recently. The list of planets at the top are "high value targets" that the tool recommended I scan. The list of planets below that are the ones I actually scanned. You can download the tool and learn more HERE.
