To make things a little easier, there are some projects already working on how to write smartcontracts for Cardano in Rust and Python, this will attract some mid-level developers. They also recently launched a Cardano Developer Portal, where you have all essentials and documents to start writing smartcontracts. (https://developers.cardano.org/), additionally, all Plutus pioneers courses are available for free.
