InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
You can run a self-hosted firewall at home such as pfSense
Run web services behind a proxy. For containers, Traefik is popular. I use the SWAG container created by the linuxserver.io folks. It has NGINX for reverse proxy, Letsencrypt integration to help you get a valid certificate, and has fail2ban integration.
As something out of leftfield, the tool Web File Browser fills a similar space and is just a single binary, which means you don't need to mess around with installing and securing a webserver to run it, nor messing around with containerising it. Or course, you can do both if you want (container for it, and/or web proxy in front of it).
