Honestly, for vector graphics in KDE, I just hope that one day Krita devs would focus a bit more on its vector layers, since it is quite a bit more maintained https://github.com/KDE/krita/commits/master/libs/flake. But they currently don't have the personpower to do that.
I personally dislike their stance, since it's been two years that this hasn't been fixed, and I need this for work. As mentioned on idontchooseanid's thread, it's not exactly your typical open source model either.
