  • wincompose

    🔣 Compose Key for Windows

  • en-US but with a compose key, so compose key (can be any modifier key) + < + s would become Å¡. It takes some getting used to, but its amazing having the standard US layout while still having access to any "special" characters I may need. Compose key is native in Linux under X, and can be used on Windows with WinCompose.

  • ULKL

Uniform Latin Keyboard Layouts - intuitive, nationalized, multiplatform, powerful, and basically 100% mutually compatible (also with Dvorak)

  • There are at least three alternatives off the top of my head: CShack, UCW (the website is dead, but the layout is included in Linux distros) or some international layout such as EurKEY (although it lacks combined letters with caron), and then customized versions of Dvorak or Colemak... and yes, I know a couple of people that use Compose.
