This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/vuejs

  • Svelte

    Cybernetically enhanced web apps

  • Have you checked out https://svelte.dev yet? It's got a great UX and stupid good performance. It's not nearly as popular as react, angular, or vue yet, but it's in 4th place and growing steadily.

  • rfcs

RFCs for substantial changes / feature additions to Vue core (by vuejs)

  • This idea was floated around during the Composition API RFC, which lead to a huge shitstorm of angry people on Reddit and Vue being laughed at on HackerNews.

  • Alpine.js

A rugged, minimal framework for composing JavaScript behavior in your markup.

  • unplugin-auto-import

Auto import APIs on-demand for Vite, Webpack and Rollup

  • When the composition API came out, I was quite against it. I too enjoyed the simplicity of Options API for my first framework. But now working on an enterprise-level app, the composition API is a godsend. One thing I didn't like was having to import ref, computed etc - then I found these https://github.com/antfu/unplugin-auto-import and https://github.com/antfu/unplugin-vue-components, and these make life so much easier
