  • optimus-manager

A Linux program to handle GPU switching on Optimus laptops.

  • So, if you want to use your discrete GPU all the time, you can use optimus-manager to switch drivers on the fly (minus a quick re-login.) That's what I use, and it works just fine! If you run into driver issues like I did at first, this video might help.

  • gamemode

Optimise Linux system performance on demand

  • Feral GameMode can do the last two automatically, as well as some other optimizations! When using the Hybrid drivers there's a touch of setup to do (the page goes over it) but afterwards you just use "gamemoderun" where before you were doing "prime-run."

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
