Is Arduino a framework like React is to JavaScript? So, a IoT framework like, Blynk is a framework for engineering?

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/esp32

  • IotWebConf

    ESP8266/ESP32 non-blocking WiFi/AP web configuration Arduino library

  • The IotWebConf library is something I find useful for WiFi enabled things. Here's an example that will start its own WiFi access point. You can then connect to it, go to http://192.168.4.1 in a browser, and enter your own WiFi details. Then it will connect to your home WiFi and you can access the web server by its IP address on your local network.

  • PlatformIO

Your Gateway to Embedded Software Development Excellence :alien:

  • There's a few different tools you can use, the most obvious one that will be used in most tutorials is Arduino IDE. It's probably the best place to start since it's pretty simple to use, but longer term you might want to look at PlatformIO

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • Heltec_ESP32

Arduino library for Heltec ESP32 (or ESP32+LoRa) based boards

  • Send and Receive data over LoRa - you'll need 2 boards for this.
