There is a good technical analysis library that does a lot of the legwork for you, https://github.com/twopirllc/pandas-ta
FYI: There is a workaround for using TA lib on Alpine, see here. It didn't quite work for me, but it might be helpful. The trick is to build TA-lib on node-slim, and copy those dependencies to an Alpine image in a multi-stage Dockerfile.
