cadmium-fabric
Discontinued An optimization mod for DataFixerUpper with the goal to make game startup take less time.
-
lithium-fabric
A Fabric mod designed to improve the general performance of Minecraft without breaking things

WorkOS
The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
Get yourself Starlight instead of Phosphor. The project completely replaces the lighting engine rather than fixing it up.
And also run Tic-TACS which replaces Minecraft's clunky chunk loading engine for a multi-threaded awesomeness. This is the most experimental of the bunch, and the least recommended for any kinds of critical usage.
Also get yourself Smooth Boot as it speeds the first loading screen up a bit.
Living on the edge isn't enough for you? Then build everything up from source gits yourself with the latest JDK 15 with OpenJ9 nightly builds. This way, you'll get the latest bugs, memory leaks, and (possibly) the best performance. Also you can even throw in Hydrogen and Cadmium because why not.
And then go on with Lithium which improves the 'internal server' of Minecraft with some other tweaks to the game logic; making it more efficient, thus faster. It can improve performance with CPU bound systems.
Squeeze even more performance with Phosphor as well. This improves the chunk lighting engine in Minecraft, speeds things up significantly especially if generating new terrain. Again, this applies to CPU bound systems.
We'll start with Sodium which replaces the entire rendering engine rather than tweaking it. You can get massive performance improvements with this simply because native renderer isn't efficient at all. This helps even more if your game is GPU bound.
