and because keeping track of all of these can get rather tedious, including checking compatibility and figuring out some of the setup processes, there is also and addon manager that can be helpful.
for the former the most commonly used option is TacO, which comes with a set of options you can display ingame, including a HUD compass or a boss timer. but it is primarily known for its ability to display markers and routes on top of your game. it comes with a couple of sets from the start, but generally you'd want to sideload a third (or fourth) party pack like tekkit's or Teh's.

other injector addons include GW2Radial, which among other things allows you to have a selector wheel for mounts in the game, as well as GW2Hook, a branch of reshade with some added features specifically for GW2.
Most addons can be found through the addon manager GW2-UOAOM. For overlays, the main two options are TacO and Blish HUD.
