Boilerplate to kickstart creating an app with Electron

  • FYI I ended up with the following setup: - A python script that listens to a WebSocket when there's the need to open the dedicated app. The kiosk app communicate to it when the extra webpage need to be loaded. - An electron app (based on https://github.com/sindresorhus/electron-boilerplate) that loads a header (a simple web page with some JS) and the external website as a composition of 2 browsers. When there is no interaction for X seconds, the electron app is automatically closed by Electron JS process.
