Is it normal that my MacBook Pro 2018 Battery is at 91.7% Design Capacity (5088 mAh) after Apple replated the" Top Case with Battery" in Feb 2021? What would be the cause? Am I loosing lots of battery power because of this?

  • macs-fan-control

    Control fans on Apple computers

  • Heat. And as we all know, Intel Macs got plenty of that. I'd get macsfancontrol and tinker with the settings to keep the machine running a little cooler.

  • AlDente-Charge-Limiter

macOS menubar tool to set Charge Limits and prolong battery lifespan

  • also consider getting AlDente to prevent the Mac from always charging to 100% as this will degrade the battery. Mainly because optimized battery charging also doesn't seem to kick in for you as I see from the screenshot, that you are connected to power and charged to the brim. (I think the 2018 models do have that feature in the battery settings)

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
