  • proton-ge-custom

Compatibility tool for Steam Play based on Wine and additional components

  • this one? no I haven’t but thx for the suggestion I’ll try it out today

  • piper

GTK application to configure gaming devices

  • I have a pretty niche joystick and throttle setup and they both work just fine out of the box. And for gaming mice, there's Piper, which has worked even better for me than logitech's windows software.

  • InfluxDB

  • powerupp

    Simple GUI for UPP

  • Some GUI control panels for AMD are PowerUPP and CoreCtl.

  • the_silver_searcher

A code-searching tool similar to ack, but faster.

  • If you're a command-line person, one of the fast search tools is ag, The Silver Searcher.

  • flatpak

Linux application sandboxing and distribution framework

  • There's AppImage that runs anywhere, this is essentially an .exe you would use on Windows. There's also Flatpak which containerizes each application (including its permissions!) to isolate it from your system.

  • AppImageKit

Package desktop applications as AppImages that run on common Linux-based operating systems, such as RHEL, CentOS, openSUSE, SLED, Ubuntu, Fedora, debian and derivatives. Join #AppImage on irc.libera.chat

  • AimTux

Discontinued A large Linux csgo cheat/hack

  • Where is your counter argument? A four year old thread is far from evidence that VAC doesn’t work on Linux… Aimtux was once a popular cheat that only works on Linux: https://github.com/AimTuxOfficial/AimTux/ it literally says here: “This hack is detected.” For the hack to be detected it must mean only one thing VAC works on Linux.
