  • me_cleaner

Tool for partial deblobbing of Intel ME/TXE firmware images

  • Hey Jeremy, has S76 looked into partially disabling the ME by deleting specific partitions but leaving the HAP bit unset? I was looking into firmware recently (well, more than just recently) and removing the NFTP (and only the NFTP) partition seems like a good middle ground that eliminates most of the security risks (no network stack) while avoiding most of the downsides. me_cleaner still works and is capable of deleting partitions from ME versions as recent as version 14.
