Well i already have the dll injection and such down (a la https://github.com/SkidKit/NativeFramework/blob/main/src/JavaClass.cpp)
I think in C or C++ you would typically rather use shims or wrappers to replace functionality rather than manipulating it. Or you could use compiler plugins to do stuff for your. The only thing I can think of that manipulates the binary itself, is Dyninst.

[Media] I'm currently learning Rust. Out of curiosity, I opened the resulting binary as a text file, and among the garbled text characters, I saw this weird text. Is this normal or is there something wrong with the compiled binary? It's the "Hello, World!" sample program and it executes normally.
