    • I noticed in the VeraCrypt README.md file, there is a lot of emphasis on building VeraCrypt with static libraries for wxBuild, so I removed the precompiled package (pacman -Rs wxgtk-common) and built it from source:

    • (Note, per the wxWidgets build documentation, the --disable-shared flag above causes static libraries to be built instead of shared libraries.)

    • Try compiling with PKGBUILD file provided by ArchLinux. https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-community/tree/packages/veracrypt/trunk (With makepkg -si, it's always preferred to install software in package form)
