  • makedeb

A simplicity-focused packaging tool for Debian archives

  • Well first things first: makedeb. This was a result of me loving Arch Linux's simple and efficient PKGBUILD format for creating packages. Got tired of Debian packaging, so I make Arch's work.

  • mpm

    Discontinued makedeb package manager

  • Then came along a side project: mpm. This installed packages directly from the AUR and Arch Linux repositories. There was an attempt at getting another thing going to convert dependencies between the two distros (which was needed), but it was a lot of effort, and I decided to put some effort into this instead.
