Furthermore, repod is based on sound technical ideas, while Chaotic AUR (toolbox) is based on a AUR helper with a known history of data loss and runs arbitrary code as root with SUID helpers. Definitely not something you'd ever want to run on a personal machine.

I was surprised how easy it was to get stuff on the AUR. I made a small little shell script for rofi that works as a checklist, if anyone wants to check it out (GitHub, AUR). It's not much, but I find it useful and I hope somebody else does too. I'm pretty new to bash scripting so they script itself is kind of messy and bodged together, but it works. That's all, just wanted to share.
