  • eddy

A debian package installer for Pop!_OS (by pop-os)

  • In other case, say I downloaded a .deb file (v1.0) from the GitHub releases page and installed it using Eddy (It is a simple tool to install deb files without all the hassle of dependencies and without using dpkg from command line.) I ensure that this .deb file does not change my sources.list (like Google Chrome does), so there is no auto-update functionality available. Now everything is supposed to work without issues and that is great.
