After a few hours of learning to use VSC and Platformio on Linux, then a few days of tweaks and recompiles I think I have a perfect firmware that octoprint no longer complains about.

  • I used the cosmoderp fork personally. It's already very tuned for the v2. So you won't have to mess with much. Quite a few bits you will need to manually enable for BLT though. there is a nice video on it.
