Regarding not detecting your mods, are you using Mod Organizer? If you are using Vortex, this is exactly the behavior I'd expect right now, i.e. that it loads but doesn't detect any of your mods properly. If you use MO2, do you generally install mods as their default names or do you rename them? If it's the latter, please check the "tip" near the end of the Getting Started - Profile section about renaming the mugshot folders.

I just went over to the GameFinder page, and they're saying that Steam changed its system earlier this month. Went and got the newest Steam update myself and not getting a repro, but there might be a difference if you installed SkyrimSE after getting that update. Does that sound your like situation, or have you had SSE installed for a long time and/or don't use Steam?
