    Neovim plugin for MATLAB

  • I need to use matlab for scientific data analysis, until a few days ago I found neovim to offer the best support for the matlab language (actually I use the SpaceVim configuaration in neovim). Everything was working fine on ArcoLinux, then I substituted ArcoLinux with Manjaro, I restored my SpaceVim config, but now when I open a ".m" document comments are formatted as if they are regular lines of code. I'm pretty sure that neovim is able to recognize them as comments because when I press SPC-c-l (the shortcut for commenting the current line) I get the "%" symbol correctly inserted in the current line, so neovim knows that that symbol is for comments. However, comments are not "grayed out" as they used to be and as they should be according to my current theme (nord). I tried changing theme but the issue is there with every theme I tried. This is my config for matlab, I'm using this plugin:
