use-package :bind blocks the default keybindings for ebib-biblio. Without :bind they work (but I don't get my own ones with :bind). Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

  • straight.el

🍀 Next-generation, purely functional package manager for the Emacs hacker.

  • I use straight.el's integration with use-package for managing all my packages. I do this by setting:

  • ebib

A BibTeX database manager for Emacs.

  • This didn't work. I got a warning that the package ebib-biblio could not be found. I realised that this was because I was using the straight version of use-package, which (only?) looks for packages in the repos, when in this case ebib-biblio is distributes as part of ebib. This didn't produce any warnings:

  • InfluxDB
