   I wouldn't call 1,2,3 and 4 scattered. INSTALL.md mentions how to install stack, and stack is a tool separate from xmonad. xmobar is also its own tool, so it makes little sense to go into detail on how to set it up on the xmonad part. The TUTORIAL.md needs to mention the desktop steps, but most devs don't use a login manager (or in my case, not sure how to reproduce the working setup). That said, it would be a useful contribution, that's why I urged OP to try and submit one
