What is a software you miss, that only works on Windows?

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/linuxmasterrace

  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • post-photorec

Tool to auto-organize files recovered by PhotoRec and similar tools.

  • It may give you apocalypticaly messy results, but I recover files for money and I've never seen it Not working. I've wrote a python script to try to sort the recovered stuff before you do the fine-grained work of looking exactly for what you want. It is missing a README, but the -h option is there and the header comment explains how to have it running.

  • MangoHud

A Vulkan and OpenGL overlay for monitoring FPS, temperatures, CPU/GPU load and more. Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/Gj5YmBb

  • Do you miss it for Afterburner's overclocking capabilities or for Afterburner+Rivatuner's ingame overlay? If it is the latter, I would argue that MangoHUD is way better than Afterburner+Rivatuner. Worth checking out of you haven't already.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • gimpshop-reloaded

:pencil2: GIMP mod to make it similiar to Adobe's product. Best free alternative to Photoshop

  • Although I don't really use GIMP or Photoshop myself (anymore) and I've heard that GIMP gets a lot better when you get used to it and customized it to your own workflow, you might also want to check out GIMPShop Reloaded. Seems pretty nice.
