ProtonVPN or Mullvad are generally decent enough VPNs. You don't need a VPN 24/7 - I usually only use em for pirating shit, because I'm too cheap to buy a seedbox. Public wi-fi would also be a good place to use a VPN.
Bitwarden is a good password manager tho (if you prefer to have an offline password manager where you handle the database yourself, look into KeePassXC)
