  • What library specifically are you using? I found this one which I assumed you used: https://github.com/syrusakbary/validate_email. If so, you may have gotten some documentation mixed up because this module's validate_email function doesn't accept all of those arguments. I checked using my interpreter, bpython, but you could also check directly in the code which arguments this function takes.
