  • ultimatevocalremovergui

GUI for a Vocal Remover that uses Deep Neural Networks.

  • No worries. In case you don't find it, here's a link. It's a GUI version of this one. Both are open source, MIT licence (you can use it commercially). But apart from a GUI it also provides additional models, which are better than the original one from vocal-remover. So even if you don't use the GUI (or can't for technical reasons) you can just use the models from UVR-GUI directly with vocal-remover.

  • demucs

Code for the paper Hybrid Spectrogram and Waveform Source Separation, but the goddamm motherfucker doesn't work.

  • This is only for creating Instrumental and Acapella versions. The best Drums/Bass/Vocals/Other separation is demucs (another open source/MIT algorithm). I would use UVR-GUI for the vocals and then get the rest of the stems from Demucs. This combination beats any other stem separation tool I've ever heard. It's funny, you can download the example audio files from these websites such as izotopes RX 8 and compare their result to these open source results. You know izotope is only showing the best of the best on their website and still, these open source solutions beat it easily.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
