InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
Nope it is not. A checkpoint force you to follow a chain by making any other invalid. If the block with assumevalid hash is removed from main chain because of reorg, you will follow the new main chain, that's not the case with checkpoint (and UTXO commitment too).
Now take ETH which is much more centralized than even BCH because blocks are bigs for a such blocktime, you can even have difficulty to run a light node because there are too few real full node. This is bad, if we can start counting who run a node by hand, then there will be fractional banking.

Polygon is extremely centralized but people don't seem to care. Polygon admin key is controlled by a 5 out of 8 multi-sig contract, and four of these access keys are controlled by the four co-founders. Why aren't we talking more about this? What's the point of being here without decentralization?
