async and await are just highlighted as regular keywords at the moment. There is currently no way to highlight them differently; I just opened two issues (#8633 and #8634) on rust-analyzer to allow highlighting the async keywords differently.

I really like the Firewatch theme! The idea is great, but I find the colors hard to see right now. I'd love something with more contrast/colors that pop.

I really like https://github.com/dylantmarsh/monokai-vibrant and it works well with Rust (but not semantic highlighting like the OP).
